RPG Toolkit
RPG Toolkit is software that is free and open source, which allows you to create role playing games on your computer. RPG Toolkit is undergoing more development than the typical game design software, with it's latest release created in September 2007. Written in C++, it is released under the GNU General Public License and is considered open source software. RPG Toolkit also appears to have an active community and a nice selection of games started in it's libraryRPG Toolkit also includes a built-in RPG making scripting language, called RPG Code, which can help extend the functionality of the program.
