Several different programming languages exist today, and they are all used sporadically throughout the world. No one can say that one language is hands-down better than all the others - each is typically so specialized, that they all have some sort of niche for their development. Programming platform games, for example, often uses a proprietary format which you pay the platform owner for directly. These can cost thousands of dollars. Programming for computers, however, is much easier as you can use nearly any programming language you like.|
